Welcome New Students!

Another academic year is underway! This year’s batch of 81 incoming students joins us from 25 countries around the world. They’ve started the year with a month-long Welcome Session which will help them get accustomed to a new way of learning, working and living.

We know studying in a Masters program abroad is a big investment and many of our students benefit from financial aid provided by our partner organizations. Here are a few examples of where our students find funding:

French Government Scholarship Beneficiaries

An important aspect of the French Minister of Foreign Affairs is encouraging international students to pursue higher education in France. Thanks to partnerships with French embassies around the world, we are able to diversify our student population as well as our learning outcomes. This year we have 8 such scholars (in M1 and M2) who are benefiting from a French government scholarship, administered by the Campus France offices of their home countries: Afghanistan, Pakistan and Ghana.

The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship program is another funding option managed by Campus France. This special scholarship is offered annually to international students who have demonstrated outstanding academic excellence. More details about how to apply for this scholarship for the 2019-2020 academic year will be available soon. Contact your local Campus France office to learn more about French government scholarships.

Exchange Students

Our more than 200 partner universities give our students many opportunities in their search to study abroad, and we are delighted to welcome incoming exchange students from these partners as well. This year 37 exchange students will join ISA for a semester or full year: students from European universities in Germany, the Czech Republic, Italy and Spain—through the Erasmus Plus program—as well as our partners outside of Europe in Argentina (Arfagri), Brazil (Brafagri), Chili, South Korea, the United States and Senegal. International Credit Mobility

As part of the Erasmus Plus Key Action 107 program, we have developed mobility projects with 11 universities in Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Russia, Ghana, China and Mexico. Thanks to European Commission funding, students from these partner universities join ISA for a semester or year of academic exchange, allowing them to expand their academic and personal horizons in a new learning atmosphere.
