CAF - French Government Housing Assistance

While living in France, all students may benefit from a monthly housing assistance payment which varies according to each student’s situation. This benefit is paid by CAF (Caisse des Allocations Familiales) and students can only apply once they arrive in Lille. We will provide guidance and assistance to students interested in applying for this program. More information is available on the CAF website.

Interest-Free Loans

ISA’s Alumni Association and Board of Directors has set up a fund for an interest-free loan open to all ISA engineering students, at both the Undergraduate and Graduate level. This loan is based on the solidarity and generosity of our alumni.

This interest-free loan, up to € 1,000 per year, is repayable in the three years following graduation. This loan is granted following a case-by-case administrative decision based on financial  and academic criteria. Students who are enrolled and have already begun their studies at ISA Lille may apply at the beginning of the academic year.

In the 2018-2019 academic year, this scholarship will be awarded in October 2018 to select students who have been studying at ISA Lille for at least one year.

Academic Excellence Scholarship

Students who show outstanding academic achievement during their studies at ISA Lille may be eligible for a scholarship. The amount and duration of these scholarships varies and is based on income. Students will be informed of these opportunities during the academic year.

Student Jobs & Paid Internships

European students and international students with a titre de séjour étudiant are permitted to work up to 20 hours per week, giving students the opportunity to earn money while studying.

In addition, all students doing an internship in France for 2 months or more must be paid a minimum of €551.25 per month(conditions may apply), giving students the possibility to save money during their internship periods.
