The Campus Recruitment Day is an essential event, which is emblematic of ISA’s project.
For the 40 companies present that day, it was the guarantee that they would find the skills they need for their development.
For the 400 graduate students, it was a way to understand better the companies’ needs, to develop their network and to prepare their future recruitment.
The diversity of partners and professional projects is very stimulating for all parties.

Emmanuel Faber is Danone Group’s Executive Vice President, in charge of the important corporate positions. He started his career at Bain and Company. He then worked for Baring Brothers, before becoming General Manager at Legris Industries in 1995. He started at Danone in 1997 as Development and Strategy Manager. In 2000, he became member of the Executive Committee and CFO. In 2005, he was appointed General Manager for the Asia-Pacific area. Since January 1st, 2008, he has been Danone’s Executive Vice President. He is the author of “Chemins de traverse: vivre l’économie autrement”.

EIP “Pollution in Europe” took place in Pau (South of France) from May 26th to June 11th 2011. It was coordinated by Dr Bertrand Pourrut, Professor in Ecotoxicology and Environmental Sciences at ISA.

43 students (selected from 120 applications!) from 15 European partner universities spent 3 weeks in Pau to attend this program of lectures and field trips related to Pollution in Europe.
The growing success of this program consolidates the idea that this could be the first step towards a new English-taught International MSc program in Environmental Sciences offered at ISA. It would be a great opportunity to fill in a large international demand in terms of specialization and to promote the work of ISA’s Soils and Environment research team.
The project is still at an early stage, but could lead to a new international program in environmental sciences in September 2012.
