Major in food science - Admission procedure

Eligibility and Pre requisites

  • Min. Bachelor degree in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, food sciences or any related scientific disciplines
  • Good level of English certified by a test: TOEFL 80, TOEIC 785, IELTS 6.0 or equivalent…
  • French is NOT a pre-requisite

The selection is based on 

  • The academic level of the applicant,
  • The motivation and interest of the applicant in the program (why does it suit your professional projects…),
  • The motivation to pursue studies in France,
  • Level of French is a plus but not compulsory.

Admission procedure in 3 steps

1 - Application form and documents

Applicants should fill in the downloaded electronic form and send it back to ISA, with the requested additional documents:  

  • certified copies of transcripts of records, 
  • copy of highest University degree,
  • motivation letter and reference
  • English proficiency certificate

Scanned copies of these documents sent by e-mail to this address are accepted. Originals should be sent after, if admission is confirmed.

2- Online scientific test

Every candidate applying to ISA Master's programs has to take a 2-hour online scientific test to verify the scientific background of the applicant (pre requisites in microbiology, biochemistry, biology…). 

3 - Individual interview

30-min interview (face to face or video conference) with the Academic Director of the program.

Tuition fees

  • Tuition fees: €6,000/year (For admission in september 2017)
  • Living expenses in France: Approx. €650/month
  • Miscellaneous fees (insurance, VISA, etc.): Approx. €300/year
